Amber is fossilized tree resin. Sumatran Amber is UV reactive and glows a bright blue color under a blacklight, unlike Baltic Amber! Sumatran Amber is found in Southeast Asia.

The therapeutic properties associated with Amber are a result of the succinic acid contained within it. When Amber is held against the skin, it is warmed, causing the succinic acid to be released and absorbed into the body.

Succinic acid has been known to help reduce inflammation and pain. Amber can also be used to ward off fleas on pets.
